Sunthorn Phu Day
Commemorates the birth of the Thai poet, Sunthorn Phu 1787-1855) designated as an eminent classical poet by UNESCO. The celebration takes place at the Sunthon Phu Memorial Park at Ban Kram village. The festivities include dramatic performances and puppet shows depicting his literary works, poetry recitals and folk entertainment.
